Renewal, Expiry & Refunds

Billing cycles, renewal, reclaim after expiry and refund rules for servers

This page covers Linux servers, Windows servers, residential IP servers and Mac hosts. The Terms of Service and the Mac Host Service Agreement prevail; this page only summarizes them.

VPS and Residential IP Servers

Linux servers, Windows servers and residential IP servers share the same rules.

Manual Renewal

  • In the console, open the resource details under Virtual Servers, click Renew, choose a renewal period and pay. The page shows the new expiry time after renewal.
  • To renew several resources at once, select them in the list and use Batch Renew, up to 10 resources per batch.

Auto-Renewal

  • Turn it on in Auto-Renewal Settings on the resource details page and choose a bank card or account balance as the payment source. You can turn it off at any time.
  • Once enabled, a charge is attempted once a day from 3 days before expiry through the expiry date, stopping after it succeeds.
  • When paying from balance, insufficient balance causes auto-renewal to fail. Keep enough balance before the renewal date.
  • Alipay and CoinGate do not support auto-renewal. Resources paid with these methods must be renewed manually.

Reminders and Reclaim

TimeWhat happens
7 days before expiryFirst expiry reminder
3 days before expirySecond expiry reminder; auto-renewal charging starts if enabled
1 day before expiryThird expiry reminder
Expiry dateExpiry reminder; the resource is forcibly shut down and marked expired and cannot be accessed. Data is kept and access is restored after renewal
6 days after expiryFinal reminder before reclaim
7 days after expiryThe resource is reclaimed and data cannot be recovered

Traffic Reset

Plan traffic resets once every calendar month counted from the purchase time, in line with the resource's billing cycle. After traffic is used up, public bandwidth is limited to 1 Mbps; buy a traffic add-on package to restore it.

Refunds

  • Within 24 hours of purchase and less than 5 GB of data transfer used: full refund.
  • Otherwise, the refund is based on the remaining value:
    • Time remaining value = amount paid × remaining time in billing cycle ÷ total time in billing cycle
    • Traffic remaining value = amount paid × remaining available traffic in billing cycle ÷ total available traffic in billing cycle
    • The remaining value is the lower of the two
  • A 10% handling fee applies to every approved refund (Section 6.15 of the Terms of Service). For orders with a cycle longer than one month, at most one month is refundable.
  • IPv4 address change fees are not refundable.

Mac Host

  • Billed monthly. The renewal price is shown in the console.
  • Manual renewal: renew on the Mac host page in the console before expiry.
  • Auto-renewal: turn it on in Renewal Settings and choose a credit card or balance. The charge is made 3 days before expiry; once turned off, the host is not renewed at expiry. If the 3-day charging window has already started, turning on auto-renewal requires paying for one period first; it is enabled automatically after payment.
  • If an automatic charge fails or auto-renewal is off, pay manually before expiry.
  • If not renewed by expiry, the machine stops service and can no longer be renewed. It is then reclaimed and reset, and all data is permanently deleted. VoyraCloud does not back up Mac host data; back up your data before expiry.
  • Refunds: not refundable after ordering, including when unused, stopped early, or auto-renewal is turned off during the service period. Full refund if the host cannot be delivered due to stock or other reasons.

When Refunds Are Not Available

Under Section 6.14 of the Terms of Service, refunds are not available when:

  • You have violated, or may have violated, the Terms of Service.
  • The service is marked non-refundable, or you were told before ordering that no refund is offered.
  • The billing period for which you request a refund has ended, whether or not you used the service.
  • The service has not been paid for, or you have outstanding amounts owed.
  • The third-party payment processor cannot issue the refund, or its refund time limit has passed.

VoyraCloud reserves the right to reject refund requests (for example, when the refund amount is below the processor's minimum) and to decide the method and calculation of refunds (Section 6.16 of the Terms of Service).

Request a Refund

  1. Open the support page on the VoyraCloud website and choose Refund Request.
  2. Enter the order ID and instance ID and choose a reason. If you choose "Other", add a description.
  3. Confirm that you have read the refund policy and understand that the resource will be deleted and data cannot be recovered after the refund is confirmed, then submit.

Requests are expected to be processed within 5 business days, and the result is sent by email. An order that already has a pending refund request cannot be submitted again.

Before you apply:

  • Once a refund is confirmed, the instance is deleted and data cannot be recovered. Back up your data first.
  • A refunded order cannot be restored, and promo code usage is not returned.
  • Refunds normally go back to the original payment method; arrival time depends on the method. Orders paid with CoinGate are refunded to your platform wallet balance.
